Our Cotton Blockprint
Block print is a traditional method used for centuries in Jaipur and Rajasthan.
A wooden block is carved into intricate and beautiful designs. Lengths of white cloth are pinned to a long table and the block is dipped into dye and then directly onto the cloth by hand. Each of our block print pieces is unique as the block lands slightly differently each time.
We use the softest, finest cotton for our block print collection and work with a small workshop in Jaipur that we have worked alongside for the past fifteen years. We love the slow process of watching the material printed, dyed then hand stitched into something truly special to keep for years.
